The magnificent Flower Parade through Kirchberg is one of the highlights of the year! More than 30 wagons, tractors and old-timers are getting decorated with thousands of dahlias, carnations, gerberas and sunflowers. They represent fairy tales and other imaginative, mythical characters. The villagers have been working on their creations for months. In a parade, they ride through the streets of Kirchberg, accompanied by the brass band.  

You can compare the parade in Kirchberg to carnival, but with flowers. The event takes place every year on the 2nd Sunday of August. Thousands of locals and tourists visit this event. You start the event at 11:00 with “Frühschoppen”. Then from 15:00 you can enjoy the colourful parade and at 17:00, celebrate the summer festival together with all visitors! The admission fee is €8 per person for the whole day. For your children, there is a children's programme during the entire day.  

After the beautiful flower parade, the day ends with a summer evening party that you do not want to miss!
