Silvretta Montafon ski area

Silvretta Montafon ski area

Altitude: 700-2,430 metres

If you are looking for a versatile ski area, the Silvretta Montafon ski area in Austria is just the thing. It is one of the largest ski areas in the Montafon, has 35 lifts and around 140 kilometres of well-groomed slopes. Due to its favourable location, you can expect a lot of snowfall in the winter season. It is therefore considered quite snow-sure. The ski area consists of two sub-areas. The Hochjoch with its clearly arranged slopes is suitable for beginners and families with children. Here you will find the longest downhill run in Vorarlberg and freestylers can blow off steam in the Montafon Snowpark. The Nova ski area with its wider range of difficulty levels offers a great challenge for advanced skiers and snowboarders. This area is home to the steepest slopes, moguls and off-piste ski routes.

Tip for early birds

You can't wait to be the first on the piste in the morning? With the "sunrise runs", you can be the first to use the freshly prepared slopes even before the lifts start.
